Contemporary ballet is Vashti’s favorite style of dance. She has performed in many full-length ballets and concert works for the United Ballet Theatre, Continental Ballet, Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota, Lawrence Ballet Theater, and Metropolitan Ballet. Highlights of her repertoire include Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Nutcracker, Les Sylphides, Paquita, Rodeo, Pas de Quatre, Pas de Classique, Pink Floyd’s The Wall, and Le Corsaire. Although her favorite role up to date was dancing “Pas De Trois” in Swan Lake for the Continental Ballet.
Contemporary Movement
Vashti’s love of modern and contemporary dance took flight at the Juilliard School while studying Paul Taylor during summer intensives. Later during her collegiate studies she was fully immersed in Graham, Horton, and Limón techniques. Her adaptability to movement styles and ability to convey a wide range of emotion has led to dancing roles for the Lawrence Opera Theatre, Communities Dance, Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota, and numerous independent short films, scenes operas, and live events.
Commercial Entertainment
As commercial talent Vashti has performed jazz, ballroom, musical theater, tap, and ballet for corporate businesses like Delta Airlines, MAC Make Up, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Farmer’s Insurance as well as organizations like the Nile’s Children’s Home Foundation, Filipino Medical Society, and Sabes Jewish Community Center. Vashti also frequently appears in her own choreographic productions for live events, and her image can be found showcased in fine art galleries across the country.

Her choreographic approach blends technical precision with emotional authenticity, creating performances that resonate beyond the constraints of verbal communication. Each of her films is crafted to evoke both visceral and intellectual responses from audiences.
