With over a decade of professional experience spanning ballet, contemporary, modern dance, and multi-media choreography, Vashti transforms ideas into visual poetry through the language of dance.

  • “Vashti is a joy to work with!

She brings a great deal of experience, skill and creativity to her art that immediately elevates the work. She can take very specific direction or improvise on her own accord - creating a very rich environment for collaboration. I also appreciate her personal style that she brings to her art."

    - Doug Johnston, Director/Filmmaker

  • "Vashti had good positive energy and more...

Vashti showed up to the shoot prepared and ready to go! She worked well, following all instructions, making a potentially stressful shoot, a piece of cake. My photographer and other crew members enjoyed working with Vashti on the set. She helped make the the atmosphere very conducive to a positive outcome. Vashti had good positive energy and more, she demonstrated all the professional we only could hope for! She over delivered. Vashti's ability to ad lib proved exceptional and as a result we hit a home run for our client! I would not hesitate to hire her again and again."

    - Tom LoChiatto, President/Producer/Director/ MDR Television

  • "She was very receptive to direction, open to critique...

I had the pleasure of working with Vashti for a series of car commercials. She provided on camera and voiceover work. She was well prepared every time she came to the TV station. She was very receptive to direction, open to critique regarding read style and inflection. Scheduling production times with her was easy. She was able to come in when quick spot changes were needed. I would definitely work with Vashti again."

    - E. Seidel, Commercial Producer

  • "Vashti, thank you for your stunning performance...

At Harbour Hope’s Black and White Gala. Your storytelling through dance is a powerful tool and was an incredible aid in moving hearts to action in the fight to end human trafficking. It is because of the talent and generosity of you, and others like you, that we are able to move forward in this important way. We are forever grateful.”

Experience Vashti’s latest dance film, KING! A dramatic declaration of Christ as king through dance and film.

Where movement and storytelling intersect, you'll find Vashti’s passion for the genre of dance on film. Her choreographic approach blends technical precision with emotional authenticity, creating performances that resonate beyond the constraints of verbal communication. Each of her films is crafted to evoke both visceral and intellectual responses from audiences.

MOVEMENT IN MULTIPLE MEDIUMS

Moving From Stage To Screen To Digital

As an innovative problem-solver, Vashti has helped clients move forward faster by applying choreographic principles beyond the stage.

Her services integrate purposeful and efficient motion across physical performance, creative productions, digital platforms, and business processes. Drawing from her decade of professional dance experience, Vashti's unique approach delivers results that resonate visually, perform functionally, and advance strategically.

With precision and grace, she transforms how clients approach personal development, business growth, and artistic expression—creating movement that matters.

Technical Experience

The production process deeply influences Vashti’s choreography. As a former stage manager, assistant stage manager, lighting designer and theater technician in her collegiate days she has learned how to successfully run complex productions. She credits these high-pressured experiences as developing her desire to envision each project as a whole (lighting, spacing, props, music, etc.) throughout her entire choreographic process.

Additionally, Vashti collaborates with a myriad of different artists such as directors, producers, composers, conductors, multi-media artists, painters, costume designers, and photographers. The artists she collaborates with inevitably inspire her and all have left a lasting footprint on her creative path.

Directing & Producing

A deep admiration for the big screen ignited Vashti’s passion for merging dance on film at an early age. As a professional dancer, choreographer, and director Vashti has collaborated on multiple dance films throughout her career.

Interestingly, Vashti’s dance film “Bear Ice” was selected to be featured in a publication by the WomenCinemaker’s organization in Berlin, Germany. This organization features women internationally that are making a difference in their community through cinema arts. They gave this review:

“We have been really impressed with the way your film raises questions about the issue of climate change, and we appreciate the way you explore the relationship between body and space, capturing unconscious emotional reactions, reminding us of Pina Bausch's, ‘Die Klage der Kaiserin’.”
